CIPS Student Stories: Tomasz Gorski | CIPS Level 4

Tomasz wanted to further his career in procurement and supply so he chose to pursue a CIPS Level 4 qualification with us. 

I graduated with a degree in economics in 2001 and an MBA (2005) in the USA. From the beginning I felt that I should educate myself about supply chain issues, especially procurement.

In 2022, the decision was made to start the CIPS course at ICS Learn. This provider was recommended by many employees as worthy of attention, of good quality and price and, above all, providing high-level education.

I wanted to expand my knowledge about strategic buyers, as well as tasks related to negotiation policy. For over a year I studied and learnt from the materials received. Today I am absolutely certain that they helped me pass the internal and external CIPS exams. I was studying 100% online, and it was a good decision.

The entire time the tutor was approachable and supported me in every way. It was very helpful and useful.

Of course, I had to balance between studying and my regular work as a planner in a company. That's why this online form – usually in the evening – helped me a lot.

After completing the course and passing a few exams, I noticed that I was better perceived in the company; I also do not hide the fact that I received a promotion as a result of expanding my competences and qualifications. ICS Learn helped me a lot in this.

I have used the actual knowledge I have gained from the course at work many times, especially when I had to help strategic buyers with contract-related issues.
