GCSE Student Stories: Dayna King | GCSE Maths & English Review

Dayna used the disruption of the pandemic to repivot her career and study a GCSE Maths and International GCSE English. Here's her story.

When we went into lockdown, I knew it was a perfect opportunity for me to redo my GCSE's as I soon learned I wanted to change my career in the near future.

I researched all over the Internet for something online as with lockdown no where was doing face to face. ICS Learn stood out to me.

The feedback from existing students from different age groups, revisiting their GCSE's and doing other causes was so reassuring.

I’m 32 and going back into education is always a scary prospect no matter how old you are. So I decided to sign up in June 2020 and since then never looked back.

ICS Learn made every aspect of the transition run smoothly even with being in a pandemic, everything was communicated clearly and the support from the tutors was incredible.

Everyone was so helpful and the beauty of the courses I did (GCSE Maths and International GCSE English), was it was done in my own time. There are so many wonderful tools they other which really help you no matter what stage you’re at in your course.

I am currently a Counter Manager for a Skincare brand in Harvey Nichols and I’m looking to go into the police in 2022.

This is something that I have always wanted to do and I am so pleased I made the right choice my future self.
